One of my favorite neighborhoods in Northern California... Bonarda is a perfect spot for a light bite before or after strolling into all the shops.

Three tapa plates for $12. Choose a nice glass of red wine and you're all set to relax and watch the neighbors. The monchego cheese and cherry compote was ohh-so-good along with the goat cheese stuffed red peppers. The highlight was the arugula and pear salad -- crisp and full of sweet and savory flavors.

I didn't have a chance to taste the desserts, but it looks like the bread pudding is heaven on a plate. Next time for sure.

Very good food, AMAZING bread pudding. And a really great bar. We've been here for dinner several times (including family occasions) and have always been pleased. And M and I, on date night, have come in after dinner elsewhere for their great bread pudding and drinks at the bar. The bar's an excellent place to have a late-nite snack and drinks. Very friendly folks, and good ambiance. We're not bar people but we felt very comfortable there, and look forward go going back again.
